My interview with Chef Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay is one of the most recognizable faces of all the world leaders. The global phenomenon that is Chef Ramsay has restaurants in seven countries, has written numerous cookbooks, is the star of several popular cooking shows, including the F Word, Kitchen Nightmares, Hells Kitchen Hells Kitchen USA, Great Escapes life and cooking. Where does your energy or time?

Seen because of their volatile nature of Gordon Ramsay has a good reputation, we will not suffer fools, and has won his use of four-letter expletives as we many critics as fans. The recent global recession has bitten world empire of Chef Ramsay and the latest reports on the tabloids - unfounded - aspects of his personal life have accumulated pressure.

I recently had the opportunity to meet him when I was asked to be a judge of the end of the F-word in the UK. Besides the honor to be invited, I was also very nervous about his reputation of fire, but I can say that I found it to be polite, charming and very tedious. Do not know if I was disappointed or not, but do not shout or curse once for 9 hours shooting.

Not only did I meet for Chef Ramsay, but I am pleased to announce that, despite his busy schedule, and commercial print, he took an interview and here on the website About.com British Food 's share some of his recipes. Fun!

The interview

Do you have a guilty pleasure food when no one else is there?

Jaffa Cakes and sweets. I can not get enough of it!

British favorite food?

You can not beat the fantastic fish and chips. During our pub, The Narrow, add the vodka to mix dough we make the most beautiful crispy.

What people have misconceptions about the British cuisine and how would change that?

I think that many people still think of British food as bland and a bit boring. We have exceptional ingredients that our beef and pork well done in our great game British cuisine is as good, if not better, than anyone else.

One result of the recent recession was the return to the pan by many. When a British court should dominate everyone what you think should?

Everyone should be able to prepare a good roast dinner. Sunday lunch with family and friends is not just a meal but an event in itself.

Who is your role model?

I met inspire many people as it would be impossible to choose one. Tana (Ms. Gordon Ramsay) and my mother a couple of great chefs - Joël Robuchon and Guy Savoy, just to name a few.

If you can cook a meal for all, who would it be and what would you cook?

I would cook for Obama. I cook something simple and elegant, perhaps a crab linguine.

Your last meal?

Bass is the king of fish, if my idea of the perfect last meal would be a good steak, braised with sorrel sauce its light; or roasted artichokes served with cream and fresh chives.

To be continued ...
